Ingredients:-
¼ tsp. Saffron soaked in 1 tbsp. Milk
1½ tbsp. Ghee
8-10 Almonds
1 tbsp. Cashewnut
1 tbsp. Raisins
1 potato, boiled and diced
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
6-7 peppercorns
2-3 pieces of Cinnamon
2 Bay leaves
2 Cloves
1 onion, shredded
½ tsp. Ginger paste
1 cup steamed carrots, French beans and green peas
½ cup boiled rice
Salt to taste
½ Apple, diced
Juice of ½ a lemon
1 tsp. Sugar
Caramelized Onions


Method:-
1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the almonds, cashew nuts and raisins and potatoes in it.
2. In the same ghee add cumin seeds, peppercorns, cinnamon, cloves and bay leaves and roast slightly.
3. Add the onion, ginger paste, steamed vegetables, rice, potatoes, salt and mix well.
4. Now add the apple and squeeze lemon juice followed by sugar and mix well.
5. Top it off with caramelised onions, saffron and milk mixture and the fried dry fruits.
6. Let it simmer on low flame for 5 minutes.
