Innovative. Entrepreneur. Engineer. Born in South Africa in 1971, Musk developed his love for computers and programming at the young age of 10. At the age of 12, he created a video game and sold it to a computer magazine. In 1995 he enrolled in graduate school in physics at Stanford University in California, but only two days after classes started, he decided to drop out and work on his first start-up: Zip2. Zip2 primarily provided and licensed online city guide software to newspapers. Zip2 was later acquired by Compaq for $307 million. Musk's entrepreneurship spirit led him to found Pay-Pal right after he sold Zip2. Of course, Musk didn't stop there. In 2008 NASA awarded the company the contract to handle cargo transport for the International Space Station. Another Musk venture is Tesla Motors, an electric car company founded by entrepreneurs Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Elon Musk joined the company in 2014 and became the company’s CEO in 2008 and product architect, On March 31, 2016, Elon Musk unveiled the Tesla Model 3. With a more affordable price tag than previous models, the Model 3 is intended to be Tesla’s entry into the mass-market. What will this brilliant mind think of next?
