Hundreds of protesters in Minnesota held a “march for healing” on July 20, in the neighbourhood where Australian woman Justine Damond was shot and killed by a police officer on July 15.A woman streaming live on Facebook for the Women’s March Minnesota said the march was being held for Justine Damond and others whose lives were “taken too early and unjustly”.The crowd stopped silently outside Damond’s family home as a vigil, before moving to the park, where community members spoke.Protesters chanted, demanding “justice now” and held aloft a banner they said listed the names of 306 people killed by police since 2000.They also chanted: “We have a duty to fight for our freedom, we have a duty to win.” Credit: Women’s March Minnesota via Storyful
