Police arrested a number of people in Washington on Thursday, June 28, after hundreds of women marched through the city to protest against family separation at the US border and other immigration policies.This video shows women shouting “shame” while sitting on the ground outside buildings in Washington. Women also blocked the entrance to the Department of Justice and marched through the city towards the Hart Senate Office building. The protest was organized by a coalition of groups, including the Women’s March, to demand the abolishment of Immigration and Custom Enforcement, according to the Washington Post.A major protest is expected on Saturday, June 30, in Washington, with other rallies across the country.
