In July-August 2017, we visited Alaska, with our kids of 9 and 5 years old. Our main goals were the mountains and forests near Girdwood (with glaciers and full of black bears), the wildlife-rich coastal areas of Kenai Fjords National Park (glaciers, orka, humpback whales, steller sea lions, sea otters and much more) and Lake Clark National Park (brown bears hunting catsharks). Finally we visited the wilderness of the interior, particularly Denali National Park (wolfs, grizzly bears, moose, caribou).
Alaska is stunningly beautiful, vast and wild. We used boats, joined buses in Denali, and hiked. Thanks to experienced local guides, we managed to enjoy the natural scenery a lot. And the kids loved it too, very much.
This is the short version movie.
