Alex Jones claimed on Monday President Trump is being "drugged."

Alex Jones, host of ‘InfoWars,’ announced Monday that President Trump is being drugged by "traitors" in his administration; the goal being to render the leader incapable of serving as anything more than a “puppet.” Jones, called a conspiracy theorist by some, said, in part, “I’ve talked to people, multiple ones, and they believe that they are putting a slow sedative that they’re building up that’s also addictive in his Diet Cokes and in his iced tea, and that the president by six or seven at night is basically slurring his words and is drugged.”
Notably, Jones also asserted on his show, “It’s known that most presidents end up getting drugged.”
It’s no doubt unclear to some how that’s “known,” while others may be fully aware of the allegedly common knowledge Jones is referencing.  A recent Harvard University study showed that Americans of opposing political affiliations really are consuming two largely different versions of the news. Favorites among left-leaning types included the Washington Post, the New York Times, and ThinkProgress. Outlets ranked in those same positions on the right’s list were Breitbart, Fox News, and InfoWars.
