Costs less than $3 per manicure! This is my method for fake nails I have been doing for over a year - its been tried and tested and they last me for 3-4 weeks. Click below for full details!!! \r
\r
\r
♡ Materials ♡\r
\r
Nails: Kiss Full Cover Nails (Active Oval): \r
\r
Nail File: 100-180 grit (180 is more gentle on the nail) \r
\r
Nail Glue (brand doesnt matter as long as you use a new pack each time): \r
\r
Nail polish of choice - no base or top coat needed!!! I wore Essie in the shade Lilacasm \r

♡ Full Instructions ♡\r
\r
1) DRY NAILS – nails need to be *completely dry* before and after for a minimum of 4 hours. I do mine at night and then by the morning you are fine to shower, etc.\r
\r
2) FILE NAILS – with a coarse nail file (100-180 grit). You want to file them enough so the full nail has texture but not so much that you are damaging your nails\r
\r
3) USE NEW NAIL GLUE – use a new bottle of nail glue each time you do your nails. I was finding that the glue would lose its potency and not work as well after the first use so I always use a new bottle each time. These are super cheap at the drug store (typically $1-$2).\r
\r
4) APPLY GLUE TO BOTH FAKE AND REAL NAIL - I use 2 drops on the back of the fake nail and then 3 drops to completely cover my real nail. Work quickly so the glue doesnt dry out. \r
\r
5) HOLD FOR 30 FULL SECONDS PER NAIL - after applying nail hold tightly for a minimum of 30 full seconds. Nail should feel completely secure\r
\r
6) FILE AND PAINT NAILS to your desired shape, size and color!\r

♡ QUESTION & ANSWER ♡\r
\r
*Do these really last 3 weeks?* \r
\r
Yes! If you look through my videos over the past year you will notice I always have the same manicure for 3-4 videos in a row. They look really good the first 2 weeks and start to grow out the third week. I remove them when the regrowth looks noticeable. \r
\r
*How do you remove the nails?*\r
\r
You can either soak them in acetone for 5-10 minutes or use cotton pads soaked in acetone and wrap each finger in foil (similar to how you remove shellac) \r
\r
You can also soak nails in warm soapy water for 20 minutes and then use a wooden nail stick to pop them off, this method is harder to do and works better if the nails have been on for a long time. \r
\r
*Will this work with other types or brands of fake nails?*\r
\r
As long as you follow this method exly it will work with any type of full cover fake nail. They have pre painted fake nails now at most drug stores (like impress nails) but I personally dont like to use those because I find they tend to be thicker and look fake.\r
\r
*Does this damage your real nails?*\r
\r
I dont find that it damages my nails at all, the only damage is from the light filing before applying. The fake nails ually protect my real nails and allow them to grow. I just find it more comfortable when my real nails are short underneath the fake nails.\r
\r
*Why do you prefer this method to shellac or acrylic nails?*\r
\r
Because its CHEAP easy, fast and it lasts! With shellac it was expensive and high maintenance and even those would start to chip on me after a week or 2. With acrylics my real nails were becoming super damaged and paper thin and it was even more expensive than shellac. And my real nails, even if they are long and healthy my nail polish always chipped!\r
