Police arrested a man on October 29 after an altercation between men in Redland Bay, which resulted in shots being fired.The Courier-Mail reported: “An armed man broke into multiple houses, stole cars and shot at a man during a crime spree in Brisbane before he was tracked with a stolen mobile phone and arrested by police.”Police said: "Police were able to track the ute using GPS from a stolen mobile phone that was in the vehicle. Polair tracked the ute north on the Bruce Highway to Caloundra before returning to the highway and heading south.“At 2.40am the vehicle was travelling southbound on the Bruce Highway at Caboolture when it left the highway and travelled across the grass verge onto Old Toorbul Point Road. The driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to roll and crash into the front yard of a property.“The driver then stole a Toyota Landcruiser 4WD from a nearby residence and drove towards Bribie Island.“At 3.05am police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device on the eastern side of the Bribie Bridge. The vehicle stopped on Verdoni Street in Bellara and the man forced entry into a nearby house where he was arrested by police shortly after.” Credit: Queensland Police Service via Storyful
