This tutorial will show you how to crochet a chunky winter childrens sweater / cardigan / jumper. This sweater is suitable for beginners.\r

For size 0 - 6 months use a 5mm crochet hook\r
For size 6 - 12 months use a 5.5mm crochet hook\r
For size 1 - 2 years use a 6mm crochet hook\r
For size 2 - 3 years use a 6.5mm crochet hook\r
For size 3 - 4 years use a 7mm crochet hook\r

For my sweater I used a 5mm crochet hook and Drops Big Merino yarn (worsted weight).\r
