Knife-Wielding Man Confronts Police in Capalaba

Police were confronted by a knife-wielding man in Capalaba, in Brisbane’s southeast, in the early hours of November 12.This bodycam footage shows the man, upon encountering the police officers, pulls a knife and waves it around.He than ran away from police and was eventually tackled to the ground. The 36-year-old man from Bundamba had been arrested and charged with “two counts each of assault police, obstruct police and receiving tainted property, and one count each of possession of knife in public place, public nuisance and possession of property used for drug offence,” police said.
