Taylor Swift's music video director stands up for her

Taylor Swift's longtime music video director, Joseph Kahn is speaking out on her behalf. According to Business Insider, he believes that the reason why the outspoken songstress is heavily criticized is because she's a woman. Kahn told Vulture, "People are intimidated by an articulate and smart woman." The director, who has worked with Taylor on videos like "Look What You Made Me Do," says that critics coming for women like Taylor is nothing new. He likens it to Hillary Clinton receiving more criticism than Donald Trump during the 2016 Presidential Election. He adds, "How many times has Trump done completely insane things for which we keep giving him passes?"
