Plane crashes into a San Jose house after system failure: Pilot and two passengers amazingly survive
A Cessna 172 ploughed into house in San Jose, California on Sunday afternoon
The pilot had just taken off from Reid-Hillview airport when system failed
He tried to head back to the runway but was unable to keep the plane up
The pilot and passengers were rushed to hospital with injuries but survived

A plane crashed into a suburban house but the pilot and two passengers amazingly survived.
The single-engine Cessna 172 ploughed into the house in San Jose, California on Sunday afternoon.
As many as 13 people live at the home and at least three people - two brothers and a sister in their late teens and early twenties - were in the home at the time of the crash, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
The three ran outside at the time of the crash and did not appear to be injured.
