Schumer Demands Tax Bill be Put on Hold

On Wednesday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said that Democrats want to pause the process on tax reform until Doug Jones is seated. In a statement Schumer said, "It would be wrong for Senate Republicans to jam through this tax bill without giving the newly elected senator from Alabama the opportunity to cast his vote.
