Tim O'Connor has carved his own path and built a strong reputation as an inpenpendent Singer and songwriter and a great live perfomer. A Troubadour for the 21st century with an eclectic musical melting pot of songs. (Melodic, lyrical, Folky rock n roll) a cross cultural adventurer.
Tim's Music is influenced by a myriad of musical styles woven into Tim's insightful,heartfelt contemporary yet age old sounding songs, drawing influence from The Beatles, Dylan,Van Morrison,Tom Waits, Johnny Cash and traditional Irish Music.
Tim has worked with many wonderful musicians including Maartin Allcock (Fairport Convention, Robert Plant, Cat Stevens) and great fiddle player Andy Dinan who he currently has a trio with called Mancunia. www.mancunia.net
He has performed and recorded with Mike McGoldrick, Arty McGlynn and supported Richard Thompson and Daby Toure. Tim has performed in the States, Brazil and all over Europe at many concerts and festivals. He has a very organic approach to music and has followed his musical inspiration.
