Green Daddy est un trio de musique taré-mélodique Lyonnaise. Les trois jeunes fous oscillent entre funk, electro, hip-hop et rock : une sorte de mélange entre Mr Oizo, le Maître Gims et Meshuggah. Ils cultivent une image absolument délirante autour de l'autodérision : en concert c'est pêchu, festif et marrant. Depuis l'origine le projet Green Daddy est fortement axé live, mélangeant les possibilités nouvelles des arts numériques et l'énergie d'un concert rock. Le groupe a la particularité d'utiliser des instruments augmentés.Ils trouvent à travers un système unique d'interaction, une grande liberté de création par le biais de gestion d'effets sur le son global du groupe qui plonge le public dans un univers sonore original et captivant. Green Daddy affiche une cinquantaine de dates au compteur dans la région Lyonnaise (Marché Gare, Club Transbordeur, Double Mixte, Ca fait zizir Festival...). Au fil du temps, le groupe a donc su affiner sa proposition scénique et musicale qui séduit un public toujours plus large et diversifié.

Green Daddy is a disturbed, but still melodic musical trio based in Lyon. The three young men turn around funk, electro, hip-hop and rock to finally get into a certain mix like Mr. Oizo, Maître Gims and Meshuggah. It’s the irrelevance of self mockery that creates a terrific image: the atmosphere during concerts is freaky noisy and entertaining. The most important aspect since creation was the live performance art, combining at one hand the benefits from the latest digital technologies and at the other, the massive force of a rock crowd. Changed instruments are the characteristic of this group. It’s true this unique interplay that the group finds itself in position to create without boundaries. The envelope is tight and the effects propels the sound into an original but still new and captive way. Green Daddy actually played on fifty different occasions mostly in and sometimes out of Lyon (Marché Gare, Club Transbordeur, Double Mixte, Ça fait Zizi Festival…). The staging got better by and by and the musical choices raised awareness of a growing audience.
