Tanausú Luis, live in Spain and was born in a little town on the island of Tenerife, a small island off the west coast of Africa. The barriers you need to cross are even more difficult when you come from a small town but he has been learning from early age that you need to go where life takes you.
He studied 'Classical Guitar' in the Superior Conservatory of Salamanca on the Spanish mainland. Later he went to the University of Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria to study a Master's Degree focus in Chamber Music with great masters like Marco Tamayo, Eliot Fisk or Ricardo Gallén. .
Now after 5 years studying the acoustic guitar he feel really free discovering a new instrument every single day and combining his life as a music teacher in Palma de Mallorca, another spanish island on the Mediterranean sea, with his fingerstyle way of life. (concerts, workshops, fairs and competitions)
In 2015 he has presented his EP "En tránsito" for acoustic guitar with original fingerstyle compositions in stages from Spain, Portugal, Austria, Germany and France sharing the stage with artists like Antoine Dufour and Chris Wood. It is sponsored by well-known brands like Schertler, G7th, Luis Guerrero Guitars, Titan Cables Newtone strings and collaborates in magazines such as Fingerstyle Journal.
In 2016 was part as a teacher with Rythmn Shaw (India) and Heiko Bloomers (Germany) in the first Altea International Guitar Camp (Spain) He has been awarded many international awards in chamber music as part of Miscelanea Quartet.
His solo project combined with chamber groups such the duets formed with Roberto Amor (drums) since 2014 and Sebastiá Llinares (piano) in 2016. Actually is planning a Fingerstyle Fest in Spain and his future project is to open a Fingerstyle Academy.
