The Pucarinho project, was started in September 2008 in Évora, Portugal. Luis Pucarinho (classical guitar and voice), André Penas (viola), Afonso Castanheira (Contrabaixo), Zeps (folk guitar) and Daniel Meliço (drums) are the musicians who come together to make this project such an interesting sea of elements. Their compositions are by turns forceful, sensitive, explosive, harmonious and unpredictable, supporting and giving a deep significance to the lyrics (sung in Portuguese). Influences include aspects of blues, jazz, rock and experimental music. The songs have a uniquely conceived charisma of their own and recount stories from the past, present and future, which resonate within all of us......
