Luiza & Pedro are a duo of Brazilian songwriters with Luiza Sales on vocals and guitar and Pedro Carneiro Silva on piano. Their music has already been to Europe, Brazil and India - where they started to develop the repertoire of original compositions of their first album, "Versos do Capitão" (The Captain's Verses), released in 2017. From "Angela", an upbeat latin style song, to "O Capitão", an intense ballad where a storm takes place in the chords of the piano, all the songs talk about personal experiences that the two musicians have in common. The album is a musical journey where the soul is divided between the adventurous dream to see new places and the desire to go back home. The sophisticated arrangements, the melodic and harmonic development and the delicate way of playing bring out the best of Luiza & Pedro.
