When everything is done fast, a counter culture emerges to protects the art of taking the time, doing things calmly and takingcare of all details. It takes a bold attitude as it's an act of rebellion, as in Adrià Punti's case, who took thirteen years to finish 'La clau de girar el taller' (trad. "The key to turning the workshop") (Satélite K, 2015). That's why the new disk sums up all his universe: distant Americana echoes, past experiences and as he admits himself, the desire to express what he carried inside. Songwriter's lyrics that reach directly the veins, intimate folk, raw and bright at the same time. 'Esperit' is the song that he performs in our balcony; a clear example of an apparently simple song, yet full of shades and lyrics that leave an emptiness in the heart. The waiting was worth it!
