Farryl Purkiss returns with his 3rd Full-length Studio album "Home" on which he teams up with international Producer, Kieran Kelly (Sufjan Stevens, Madison Square Gardens, Matt Johnson, Angus & Julia Stone, etc.)
Made up of 13 incredible tracks, "Home" is unquestionably Farryl's best release to date. With singles such as "Own Way Home", "A Spade A Spade", "Counting Back from 31" and "When You Were Young", Farryl reaches a new level of maturity in his song writing. Telling stories from the heart. On the album is a new recorded version of "Ways To Live Forever" which was written for the Ben Chaplin movie of the same name, as well as the finished version of "In Apostrophes", which was first released as a demo version on the bonus disc of the Special Edition release of "Fruitbats & Crows", hyping it as a track which will be on the next album. And so it is.
Farryl includes his hauntingly beautiful version of the Crowded House hit "Fall At Your Feet", along with great album tracks "Till She Was No More", "Yesterdays Demise" and "Absolution In The Ground".
The album release comes at the same time as Farryl supports sensational Australian artist, XAVIER RUDD, on his South African tour.
