Delvindelux is a rock n roll eletro dance band conceptualized by Tony Gordin, an artist who began playing drums professionaly by the age of 13 with his father and oldest brother in São Paulo, Brazil.
Moving to Los Angeles at 19 years of age by himself and after 14 years wanting to be closer to his family, returned to his home town in Brazil.
His interest in other instruments and composing flourished, and the concept of his own rock n roll band was born around 2003.
After having played drums with many of the top artists in Brazil, ranging from small clubs to huge festivals, he joined forces with his old time musician friends, all who felt a need to keep the original reason, and flame involved in playing inspiring music alive, hence forming Delvindelux.
Performing in the local clubs, they attracted much attention in their highly energetic shows, becoming well know for attracting everyone at the concert to the dance floor.
The album 'Delvindelux' was released in December of 2013, receiving excellent reviews from critics and public.
They received "best new artist award" in 2014 by the "Prata da Casa" Sesc cultural, a leading corporation in promoting local and international music in Brazil.
Tony Gordin has shared the stage/recording studio with Airto Moreira (Miles Davis), Colin Wolfe (Michael Jackson, Snoop Dog), Rivers Cuomo (Weezer), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Bjork), Billy Mohler (Lee Scratch Perry, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Macy Grey) to name a few.
