Sena Şener was born in 1998 in Turkey and she grew up moving to various cities in Turkey and ended up in Istanbul. Living in a family into music, it didn't take her long to discover her desire.
She has been into music since she was 9 and she has been writing songs, most of which are in English, since she was 11. Her main genre is alternative/indie folk. She's been sharing her covers and some of her originals, which she records at home by herself, on her Soundcloud profile. She has been on some Turkish radio stations and a couple live sessions so far. Sena has also collaborated with several DJs and has participated in writing Deep House music two of which are now released on Beatport and iTunes. One of her songs on which she cooperated with a DJ friend of her will be released with a Vienna based music video in December.
Though she has been into a like projects very different from her own genre, she likes her own path to be more romantic and milder. She wrote The Pastor's Daughter when she was 15 and she defines it as: ''It's a simple folk song yet it has a lot of meaning for me''.
