Tristen Brooke will mesmerize you into a funky dance trance. It is an energetic organic mix of classical, funk, and rock, with undertones of earthy soul. They exemplify astounding talent and a love of making music. The lyrics are mainly geared towards environmental conservation in hope that the music sheds light on that subject.
Luis is originally from Mexico and Guatemala. As a professional journalist, he got started with music in Guatemala City with flamenco, rock, blues and folk bands. He has participated in dance and theatre performances in festivals in Mexico, Berlin and Guatemala. Tristen began playing classical guitar in college and studied at Wayne State University in Detroit, Mi. Later, her love of a wide variety of music, including rock, funk, and flamenco molded her own style of playing. She has performed in many festivals and cities around the U.S. Their first full-length album was released in January of 2016.
