FileRun lets you store, manage, and share your files using your own private web server. It's got a great web-based interface that certainly stands up to its competitors, although it is non-free.
FileRun's developer gave me a free unlimited license and $60 in payment (equal to one year of DigitalOcean hosting) for making two videos about the software.
