Ingredients:-
250 gms. Okra (Washed and slit vertically)
For Stuffed Spice Mix:-
1 tsp. Salt
1 tbsp. Red Chilli Powder
¼ tsp. Turmeric Powder
1 tsp. Coriander Seeds Powder
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds Powder
½ tsp. Garam Masala
1 tbsp. Fennel Seed Powder
1 tsp. Raw Mango Powder
Coriander Leaves
1 tbsp. Oil
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
2 Chillies, slit length-wise
2 Onions, sliced
½ Tomato, sliced
Coriander Leaves for Garnish
Method:-
1. Mix all the spice mix ingredients together with coriander leaves.
2. Stuff the slit okra with the spice mix.
3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, green chillies, onions and saute.
4. Then add the spice stuffed okra and stir lightly.
5. Now lower the flame and cook covered halfway for 5-7 minutes.
6. Add tomato and cook again for 2 minutes covered.
7. Give it a final stir, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
Bharwa Bhindi is ready to eat!!
