ShapeShift Holster Compression Test - Alien Gear Holsters
Think we don't put our holsters to the test? Far from it. We put our ShapeShift Modular Holster System through the ringer, as we wanted to find out just what this holster was capable of standing up to.

As it turns out, what our holsters can stand up to is a lot. Wonder if this gun holster can stand up under pressure? It can. We brought the pressure.
In fact, we put HALF A TON of pressure on this holster.
Watch the video, and you'll see. We use a shop press to put more than 1,000 pounds per square inch of pressure on the ShapeShift IWB Holster. It didn't break, warp, or crack under this load in the slightest.
We then tested the holster with a blue gun - which is an exact mold of a firearm - to see if the holster would still function after being subjected to such a large load. And it was.
This is a concealed carry holster that's built to take anything you can throw at it. We designed the ShapeShift Holster System to do that. The polymer shell is molded from a proprietary polymer blend nearly identical to the polymers used to mold many firearms today. If it can stand up to shooting, it can stand up to use as a holster.
