Interviewer: Lindsey I watched you and your emotions are going up and down. Crying and smiling. Tell how you are feeling now?
Lindsey: It’s difficult. I have a lot of emotions. I was for sure really nervous because I knew it’s my last downhill at Olympic Games. But I gave everything and faught and did whats possible. I skied a bit to exact on the line. But I’m proud of what I did. The last 8 years weren’t easy for me. But this Bronze Medal is a good feeling to get a medal again. You shouldn’t forget how difficult it is to get a medal. I’m really proud.
Interviewer: I watched when you came to the finish when it was still Silver and only Goggia was faster. I wasn’t sure if you were happy or not.
Lindsey: I thought that I had a good run and so I was a bit surprised that I was 2nd in the finish but then I was 3rd. It wasn’t good enough. I have to watch the video but I gave everything and you can only give 100 percent not more.
Interviewer: You shouhted through the finish area. Your mum is there I think.
Lindsey: My sisters.
Interviewer: Did you meet them?
Lindsey: Yeah. I’m happy that my family is here. That’s really important for me. This are my last Olympic Games. They always supported me when I had injuries. My sister Laura always cooked for me and helped me with the crutches. I wouldn’t be standing here without my family. For this I’m really thankful.
Interviewer: We’ll see you in Combine?
Lindsey: Yeah sure. I’ll try it and give everything like always. Maybe I’m happy afterwards.
