7位からスタートした鈴木愛が6バーディ、ノーボギーの「66」でプレー。後続に1打差の通算8アンダーとし、昨季の賞金女王が単独首位でシーズン開幕戦を折り返した。
通算7アンダーの2位に首位から一歩後退した川岸史果と、「67」と伸ばした李知姫（韓国）。川岸は前半インにパーを並べて後退が続いたが、後半に4バーディ（2ボギー）を奪い「70」でホールアウト。昨年大会を2位で終えた雪辱戦で上位をキープしている。
通算6アンダーの4位に、地元のホステス大会で9シーズンぶりの優勝を狙う諸見里しのぶ。通算5アンダーの5位に、イ・ミニョンとペ・ヒギョンの韓国勢が続いた。
畑岡奈紗は通算2アンダーの16位。横峯さくらは通算1アンダーの24位。前年覇者のアン・ソンジュ（韓国）、勝みなみらは通算イーブンパーの31位で決勝ラウンドに進んだ。
イ・ボミ（韓国）はカットラインに1打届かない通算2オーバーの58位で予選落ちした。

Kawanishi historical facts which fell back from the top in second place with a total of 7 under par and Lee Himpei (Korea) who stretched to "67". The riverbank kept par at the first half in a row, but deprived 4 birdies (2 bogey) in the second half and hall out at "70". It is keeping the top in the battle against the frustration that ended the second place last year.
