Ingredients:\r

Yam - 1 bowl\r
Green chillies - 2 tbsp\r
Salt - As per taste\r
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp\r
Red chilli powder - As per taste\r
Garlic - 6 cloves\r
Ginger - 6 pieces\r
Coriander - 1 cup\r
Powdered Oats - 1 cup\r
Cumin powder - 1 tsp\r
Coriander powder - 1 tsp\r

Preparation: \r

1. Peel the skin of the yam and boil the yam in a pressure cooker.\r
\r
2. In a blender add garlic, ginger, green chillies, coriander, salt and make a paste.\r
\r
3. Now mash the yam and add turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and the blended paste and mix well.\r
\r
4. Add oats powder for binding mix well and make small tikkis in your choice of shapes.\r
\r
5. Keep the tikkis ready and shallow fry them on a pan by adding little oil and by turning them both the sides till golden brown.\r
\r
6. Serve them hot with chutney or sauce.
