A samosa or samoosa, is a fried or baked dish with a savoury filling, such as spiced potatoes, onions, peas, lentils, macaroni, noodles or minced meat. Its size and consistency may vary, but typically it is distinctly triangular or tetrahedral in shape. Indian samosas are usually vegetarian, and often accompanied by a mint chutney. Samosas are a popular entrée(Starter), appetizer or snack in the local cuisines of India. Samosa is a crispy and tasty food. There are many varieties in the fillings in each state of India. We used very common stuffing in easy steps in tamil. \r

How to Make /Making of ppotato samosa: \r
First make the maida dough for outer crispy cover. 1 cup of maida, add 1/2 teaspoon salt, then add 3 spoon of oil with some water, mix it well and make dough. finally add a spoon of oil to cover all the places. keep it 20 minutes with clean cloth wrapped around it. \r

Potato Stuffing : Now take the potato and green peas and boil it with a pinch of salt. Heat a pan add 3 spoon of oil and add chopped onion and saute it, then add chopped green chilli. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam msala,cumin seeds powder, fennel seeds powder and salt. Add coocked and mashed potato mix into it. Mix it well. Add coriander leaves, and lemon juice. Now keep the stuffings aside, make the cover for stuffing as shown in the video, stuff it and fry it in oil. Serve with coriander or mint chutney or even with a sauce. Thanks for watching.\r
