Press and hold down the volume down button, then press and hold down the power button at the same time until the tablet boots to the recovery mode screen. \r

Next press the volume down button one time to highlight (Recovery mode)\r

Then press the power button to start recovery mode. You will then see an image of a little android robot with a red triangle and a black exclamation mark inside of the triangle. \r

Now press and hold down the power button then press and release the volume up button one time\r

Now in this screen use the volume button down to scroll down to (wipe data/fory reset) then press the power button to select it.\r

On the next screen scroll down to (Yes - erase all user data) then press the power button to select it. Now it will go through the process of formatting. It will tell you when it is complete at the bottom. When it completes just press the power button to restart your tablet to the welcome screen. If your tablet has issues or stops working or freezes up at any point during these steps, you can restart it by holding down the power button for several seconds or up to a minute or two.\r
