Sugar Skull Halloween Tutorial

Hi beauties! So excited to share this tutorial with you! Sugar skulls come in all different forms and I wanted to bring to life a more realistic skull with the embellishments of a traditional sugar skull. I know this doesnt have as much color as a lot of traditional sugar skulls do, but I wanted to do something a little different. I wanted it to remain beautiful and real while still letting your own face shine through. \r

I created the head piece with an old Halloween top hat that I already had. I used fake flowers from a craft store and just hot glue gunned them on. The little skull is from the 99cent store and the pearls are also from the flower section at the craft store. Try and use what you have or go pick up some inexpensive items to create something that looks expensive. Halloween is a time to use creativity and just have fun with things. Hope you all enjoyed. \r
