McLaren P1 and MSO 12C at McLaren's Premiere of Rush in London
I stumbled into a premiere being hosted by McLaren of the new Rush movie, a film that follows the 1976 Formula 1 season and the racing events that unfolded. On display outside were three cars; notably a McLaren P1 hypercar, custom MSO MP4-12C with an awful lot of options and a 2013 McLaren F1 car the MP4-28.
Although the P1 is sadly a 'non-runner', being the same car that was shown at the Geneva Motorshow in March, then at McLaren London in April before also making an appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. However the awesome startup of the MSO 12C makes up for that, being based on the same engine block, before the cars are loaded up and taken back to base.
