Was kommt dabei heraus, wenn vier befreundete Musiker im Alter von 22 Jahren die Vision haben, mit ihrer frisch gegründeten Band groß herauszukommen? Die Antwort lautet DAREMO. DAREMO bedeutet "Niemand" auf Japanisch, was die Unabhängigkeit der Newcomerband aus Berlin gut beschreibt. Mit ihrer selbst produzierten Debüt-EP trafen sie direkt ins Schwarze: Gleich nach der Veröffentlichung wurde die Band vom "Deutscher Rock und Pop Preis 2017" in der Kategorie "Rock" ausgezeichnet. Auch bei einer Songwriting-Session von Universal Music Publishing gewannen sie mit ihrer aktuellen Single „Lauf“, die es kurz darauf in so manches Radioprogramm schaffte. DAREMO, deren Bandmitglieder allesamt am BIMM Berlin Institute studieren, fühlt sich an, als hätten The 1975 und Udo Lindenberg gemeinsam ein Album aufgenommen – allerdings in der Gegenwart, mit Laptop. Ihre Musik lässt sich nicht in eine Genre-Schublade stecken, sie verbindet Rock'n'Roll-Attitüde gekonnt mit Ambient Pop-Vibes und Old School Grooves. Nun haben die Jungs ihre Single „Lauf“ live für BalconyTV Berlin aufgenommen.
What is the result of a determined 22 year old musician and his 4 friends that have the vision of getting big while breaking all of the conventions in the scene? The answer is the DAREMO. DAREMO means „nobody“ in Japanese and outlines the independence of the young band, that recorded produced and mixed their first Debut EP all by themselves. It’s not important who makes the music, but what it stands for. Right after the release, the band was given a award by the „Deutscher Rock und Pop Preis 2017“ in the category „Rock“. They also won a contest from Universal Music Publishing to an exclusive Songwriting session and their last single Lauf made it’s way into some internet radio playlists. DAREMO, whose band members are all studying at the BIMM Berlin Institute, feels as if The 1975 and Udo Lindenberg had recorded an album together - but at the moment, with a laptop. Their music combines a rock'n'roll attitude with ambient pop vibes and old school grooves. Now the guys have recorded their single "Lauf" live for BalconyTV Berlin.
