Teenager has her eyebrows burnt off by careless beauty therapist.

A mum has blasted careless beauty therapists who burned her 13-year-old daughter's eyebrows off and left her with eyes so swollen she couldn't see. Megan Billingsley had been taken to the salon on June 18 by a family friend to get her eyebrows waxed and tinted. However, rather than carry out a patch test to check if Megan's skin would react to the dye the therapist simply slathered the dye on. The next day Megan's worried mum Caroline, 31, noticed her eyebrows were red and attempted to wash the last of the dye off her skin. It was only after Megan jetted off to Greece with family on June 20 that violent blisters appeared on her face, swelling up so much she was unable to see out of her left eye.
