20-YEAR-OLD Bella and 21-year-old Reason are young parents to two-year-old Posie and 11-month-old Auria. They began sharing their story on TikTok after a post of Bella’s bump updates, when she was 17 years old and pregnant with Posie, went viral. Bella said: “With being young parents I feel like the judgement we mainly get is we’re ‘too young to know how to parent kids’, that we’re ‘kids raising kids’ type of thing.” While the couple concede that ‘everybody with kids is so much older’ than them, they feel they have gained emotional maturity and are responsible parents. Some of their family and friends initially expressed concern about the situation but have seen them blossom as parents. Desiree, Reason’s mother, said: “They stepped up and proved me wrong.” Bella recently shared that she does not believe in birth control and received a mixed response in the comment section, with some outraged by her post. Bella said: “With birth control I feel like, I personally don’t believe in it for myself. I prefer natural ways of prevention… Or I get pregnant.” The couple have some exciting news to share with their followers - Bella is pregnant with baby number three! They planned this pregnancy and are looking forward to all three of their children being at their wedding next year. What do they think having three under three will be like? Reason said: “I think it will just be slightly more crazy.”

02:24When you guys decided to share your story on social media?
02:27When I first made my first post, I was pregnant with Posey.
02:31I was probably about, like, 12 weeks pregnant, and I just made an announcement post.
02:35It kind of blew up, and so then I was like, maybe I'll try and make a few more videos.
02:40So the video that got almost 70 million views was the video of my, like, bump progress throughout my pregnancy with Posey.

02:52There was a lot of controversy in the comments on it.
02:55With being young parents, I feel like the judgments we mainly get is,

03:10What they don't realize is what kids do to you.

03:23Everybody else who has kids is so much older than us.
03:25We've lost a lot of friends and people in our lives because of that.

04:49For one, our wedding is in next September.
04:52And so I didn't want to be pregnant at the wedding.
04:54And we also didn't want our kids too far apart.

04:58Just do it all at once, buy in bulk, and get it done.

05:06I think it'll just be slightly more crazy.
05:09We do really well with both girls already,
05:12and so we feel like we can handle a third.

05:17how hard it actually is, but we're really excited about it.

05:25With birth control, I don't believe in it for myself.

05:35my own personal beliefs, so take it as you will.

05:40but I know from so many experiences
05:44like my friends have had, my family has had,
05:47and just so many other women online who have come to me,
05:50birth control has messed with their hormones,
05:52it's messed with their fertility,
05:54and it's just, it disgusts me personally.

06:00I had mixed opinions on that for sure.
06:03I think majority of people actually were supportive
06:06because a lot of people were standing by the fact that,
06:09yeah, it did mess with my hormones,
06:11it did mess with my fertility.
06:13And then there were other people who were like,
06:15no, there's no statistics, people like saying there's no proof,
06:18like, you know, fighting on it.
06:20Personally, it's not something I have or ever will put in my body,
06:23but I don't judge anybody for either.

07:45and now we're planning to get married next September.
