Teacher parents take their kids on year long educational road trip
- 5 years ago
A teacher couple so fed up with the state of Britain's education
system have taken their children out of school to take them on a
£20,000 year-long educational road trip of the UK - in their CARAVAN.
Tim and Kerry Meek have quit their jobs and sold their £160,000 house
in order to fund the 20,000 mile journey with daughters Amy,11, and nine-year-old Ella. The couple said they will home-school the girls as they are so disillusioned with the current National Curriculum in the UK and wanted to put the fun back into learning.
