Un père et sa fille : Jack, procureur à la retraite, Sarah, jeune avocate pleine d’ambition. Malgré l’amour très fort qu’ils éprouvent l’un pour l’autre, ils n’arrivent pourtant à communiquer que très difficilement.
Barrières à leur amour, la maladie de Jack, sa peur de la souffrance, l’égotisme de Sarah, sa peur de la mort.
Et puis aussi le poids d’un passé chargé de la séparation, de faits inavoués, d’un secret douloureux…
A father and his daughter: Jack a retired prosecutor and Sarah a young ambitious lawyer.
Despite their strong love for one another they have a difficult time communicating. Jack’s affliction and his fear of suffering, Sarah’s egotism and her fear of death are just a few of the obstacles to their love. And then there’s a past that is laden with separation, hidden thruths and a painful secret…
