Firefighters worked to contain a growing vegetation fire north of Oroville, California, on Saturday, June 16.The fire was in a remote area, and buildings were not in immediate danger, Cal Fire said. Because the fire was in a remote area, firefighters had to hike to the blaze because the roads were too narrow for their engines. Aircraft were also dropping fire retardant, which can be seen in this footage. As of Saturday afternoon, the fire was holding at 40 acres and 15 percent contained. Credit: Cal Fire via Storyful
