‘Stop the Riot EP’ is the beginning of a series of EPs that will be leading to a Luke Solomon album in the new year. This EP features two collaborations; firstly ‘The Acid Games’ with Greenskeepers & Hitsafe vocalist Nick Maurer, the man partially responsible for the Classic classics ‘Filipino Phil’, ‘Lotion’ and ‘Should I Sing Like This’, who goes loco on the first of four tracks Luke and Nick have made together. The flip side, ‘Stop The Riot’ sees Luke team up with the legendary Gramme vocalist Sam Lynham. Luke recently remixed a single taken from Gramme’s current album, and that led to the two of them collaborating for the first time. Some punk-funk , house, live grooves that feature a whole host of musicians including Luke's long-time friend and musical compadre Martin Radford, drums courtesy of the one and only Moodymanc and bass & guitar from Luke's mother Rose’s partner Andy Neal. Additionally each EP will have an exclusive club cut that won't be featured on the album; on this one the featured track is ‘Second Hand Blues’, a throwback nod to the raw disco cut up, rounding of the EP nicely and adding a taste of things to come.
