Red Sox fall in extras despite another 10 strikeout effort from Chris Sale

The Red Sox got another strong performance from Chris Sale as he made Major League history striking out at least 10 batters in a game for the eighth consecutive start tying his own record with former Red Sox ace and Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez. Unfortunately, the Red Sox waste another fantastic Chris Sale start as the offense could only score two runs for him before ultimately falling to the Oakland Athletics in extra innings on a Mark Cahna walk-off home run in the tenth.
