Israeli border police arrested two Italian graffiti artists at the Israeli separation barrier in Bethlehem, West Bank, on Saturday, July 28. The artists were painting a mural of the jailed Palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi on the wall.The Palestine Liberation Organisation confirmed Israeli forces had arrested two Italian artists and a Palestinian who was with them.Tamimi, 17, a member of a prominent activist family, was imprisoned in December, 2017, for kicking and slapping an Israeli soldier. A video of the incident went viral, giving her icon status for Palestinians, according to international reports. She was set to be released on Sunday.One of the artists, Jorita Goch, posted on Facebook shortly after the arrest. “We are in arrest in betlemme from israeli army.
