Ingredients:
1 kg Chicken
1 tbsp Ginger paste
1 tbsp Garlic paste
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
Salt to taste
4-5 tbsp Oil
1 Onion, finely chopped
2 Bay Leaves
5 Green Chillies, slit
Garam Masala
1 1/2 liter Water
Garam Masala:
1 inch Cinnamon
1 tbsp White Sesame
4-5 Cloves
8-10 Peppercorns
1 tbsp Cumin seeds
5-6 Dry Chillies
1 tbsp Coriander seeds
1 cup Coconut, grated
Water as required
Method of preparation:
For Chicken Curry
Marinate the chicken, heat oil in a vessel, add onion and fry it till its nice and translucent.
Add bay leaves, green chillies, ground masala, and saute it till the oil separates.
Add marinated chicken and fry it.
Add water, cover it and cook it till the chicken is done.
For Garam Masala:
Roast all the spices, add coconut and grind it into a fine paste
