The Ford C-Max (stylized as Ford C-MAX and previously the Ford Focus C-Max) is often a compact multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) created by the Ford Motor Company since 2003. The Ford Grand C-Max features a larger wheelbase. Ford introduced the C-Max in the United States since it's first hybrid-only type of vehicles, including the C-Max Hybrid, released in September 2012, along with the C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid, launched in October 2012. Although the C-Max was in fact available only in Europe, the very first generation was partially accessible in New Zealand. With the introduction with the new large MPVs S-Max and Galaxy, the C-Max is actually the mid-sized multi-purpose vehicle in Ford's lineup, on top of the B-Max.
