5-Pound Dog Saves Family From Bear

Huffington Post reports a tiny family’s dog saved a mother and her two children from a bear in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Pickles was a toy a toy poodle with curly black fur. He weighed five pounds. Unfortunately Pickle passed away, but he died in honor. His owner Tiffany Merrill explains the bear walked into the her house after she let pickles out to use the bathroom. She told the press, “My dog came out, started barking and got the bear’s attention, and got the bear outside and he saved my life. Pickles became a Blue Ridge Mountain Hero.
