This is the dramatic moment 14 Spanish tourists were forced to leap into rough seas to be rescued after their boat's engine cut out off the coast of Thailand on Saturday afternoon.
The group - ten adults and four children - had hired the luxury motorboat last Tuesday for a five-day trip around the Andaman Sea, off the coast of Phuket.
They were due to return on Saturday but the vessel was battered by deadly three-metre high waves before suffering a mechanical failure near to Koh Phi Phi island. The boat also had no radio signal in the area but Mayday calls were eventually picked up an hour later by the coast guard who sent rescue boats to the area.
Footage shows the moment the Spanish tourists had to leap one-by-one into the treacherous sea so they could be pulled to the rescue boat with rubber rings.
All of the group were saved. The rescue comes just two months after dozens of Chinese tourists drowned in the same stretch of ocean when their boat capsized in rough seas.
Police Colonel Anurak Parinyasathirakul, the head of Krabi Marine Police, said the group had hired the boat to on Tuesday and were due to return to Phuket on Saturday after sailing to different beauty spots along the coastline. He added: ''Seven crew members were also on board the boat. They are all safe. They are due to travel back to a hotel in Phuket.''
National Park boss Woraphot Lomlim said: ''The vessel suffered an engine failure in the sea in the area between Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Island. ''
