The tenth-generation Impala was introduced in the 2012 New York Auto Show for your 2014 model year, with sales and production commencing March 4, 2013. The tenth generation Impala was the 1st North American sedan in 19 years to earn Consumer Reports' top score, that has a score of 95 of your possible 100 points. This tenth generation Impala is larger compared to the previous generation, sharing the extended Epsilon II FWD platform while using Cadillac XTS. The current generation is assembled in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, alongside the ninth-generation Impala (now renamed the fleet and rental exclusive-only Impala Limited), and on the Detroit/Hamtramck Assembly in the United States. All trim levels are equipped using a six-speed automatic transmission with sport and manual shifting modes.
