Pictures dating back to 1902 have been unearthed showing what could be the world’s earliest models – including topless women and men sporting posing pouches.
The shots reveal a fascinating insight into the tribal lives of Fijian warriors and their families more than a century ago. Several snaps are dated 1902 and includes one of the first recorded pictures of the Cook monument at Point Venus on Tahiti which was built the year before.
