Jonny Wilkinson was born on May 25th, 1979 at Frimley in England. Born into a family that adored and played sports, he started to practice rugby at the young age of 15. With passing time, he evolved into the position of fly-half. Wilkinson commenced his professional career in the Newcastle Falcons in 1997.
He was selected in the national team for the first time at the young age of 18 in 1998. He scored the last shot for the victory in the final minutes of the World Cup 2003.
