BMW Faces Criminal Probe In South Korea

According to Automotive News, BMW is facing a criminal probe in South Korea due to fire hazards and delayed recalls.
Regulators concluded that BMW concealed fire hazards for engines.
In response, South Korea's transport ministry will ask prosecutors to investigate BMW even further.
The Germany automaker has also been fined $10 million to a belated recall of 22,670 vehicles.
Worldwide, BMW has recalled 1.6 million vehicles due to defects.
